Description
I created this recipe when I owned a restaurant years ago. The name was decided upon from the addition of Italian Seasoning in the ingredients. This recipe is different from regular Chili recipes in that it contains no Cumin and uses Heinz Ketchup instead of any other tomato products. The color and taste of this chili is a local favorite and has won many local Chili contests.
Ingredients

8 SERVINGS
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 onions (Large, – chopped fine)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 dashes old bay seasoning (optional)
- 2 lb. hamburger
- 1 handful flour
- 15.5 oz. kidney beans (cans, –, juice & all!, 46.5 oz total)
- 1 cup Heinz Ketchup
- 1/3 cup chili powder
- 1/2 Tbsp. italian seasoning (1 & ½ Tsp)
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 Tbsp. Tabasco Sauce (This will make a mild chili so add more according to taste)
- 2 cups water

Directions
- ADD OLIVE OIL TO ELECTRIC SKILLET AND HEAT TO 200°
- ADD ONIONS, SALT, PEPPER, & OLD BAY SEASONING
- SAUTE ONIONS UNTIL SLIGHTLY BROWNED
