- 0.75 oz. active dry yeast (2 T of my yeast--not sure if it's active dry)
- 1 cup warm water (for yeast)
- 8 cups bread flour (I used all-purpose.)
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 cup margarine (melted)
- 1 1/2 cups milk (warm, I used hot water and powdered milk.)
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 2 egg whites (beaten, for the tops of the loaves before baking)
