- 1/3 cup cold butter (cut into pieces)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- milk (unchecked▢, to brush on scones)
- 1/2 cup dried fruit
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (finely, or 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.)
- 1 tsp. lemon zest (or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.)
- 1 cup frozen fruit (or fresh, well-drained and patted dry. Frozen fruit does not need to be thawed.)
