- 1 large potato (medium to, pressure cooked in ¾ to 1 cup water)
- 3 tsp. oil (for sauteing onions)
- 43 grams onion (or ⅓ cup chopped onion)
- 1/2 tsp. ginger garlic paste (or 2 to 3 garlic cloves + ½ inch ginger crushed to paste)

- 2 Tbsp. besan (/gram flour)
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice (or ½ teaspoon amchur powder/dry mango powder, add as per taste)
