- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 handful fresh thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. chilli flakes (/red pepper flakes)
- 1 tsp. salt
- black pepper (to taste)
- 2 red onions (finely chopped)
- 3 garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
- 2 tsp. Italian herbs
- 2 tsp. smoked paprika (to taste)

- 2 tsp. sugar (optional)
