I loved this recipe for the most part, but I think I would just make with real cheese in the future instead of with pimento cheese. The glaze on top though was to die for. It was pretty sweet so I felt it balanced the ham and cheese well. If you don't like sticky sweet things then I would maybe cut down on the sugar. Overall pretty great, but may not be for everyone if using the pimento cheese and some people may want to cut down on the sugar used for the glaze.
