    This recipe is easy and delicious! I made it because I had purchased some hot fudge sauce at the grocery store and it was awful. I knew I could make my own and it would taste like Hot fudge sauce of old. I'm not a big sweet eater but my boyfriend is. He devoured this stuff. I plan to make it as Christmas gifts for my friends.     Adapted this recipe to fit my lactose free diet, by substituting almond milk for the heavy cream, and using 1/2 c butter, and 1/4 t salt instead 1 full c butter. Delicious! Probably a little thinner than the original but so-o good on Breyer's lactose free vanilla ice cream.
