The brownie bottom was good, the cheese cake itself was bland and sugarless. I understand the need for the hot fudge.

For the first one that I made, I forgot to switch the oven temp lower to 325, so the brownies came out crunchy (that was on my part though oops😬☺️) & I used a 9x13 in pan so the brownie layer was thin, BUT the second time I made it (which was the same day), it came out okay. would be happy to try again in my “experimenting” baking time. I’m not entirely sure if brownies and cheesecake go together but it was like a good snack to have if you don’t have anything else. The picture I included below was the brownie part of the cheesecake.

This is the best dessert I’ve ever made. The homemade hot fudge is to die for. Everyone LOVED this cheesecake. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

The best cheesecake I ever had!! Although it was my first attempt at making cheesecake and I did a lot of things I shouldn’t have - recipe was very easy, turned out pretty ugly (my fault) but the hot fudge hid all my boo boos! It was an Easter dinner hit!! I will definitely make this my go-to dessert!
