I’ve made this before and used brown sugar instead of honey. Also with a combo of both!

I only marinated the chicken for an hour, which lessened the flavor, but when I cooked them all together in the dish the marinade didn’t coalesce like the picture, instead it became watery and separated with fat floating on the top. Still tasted okay, though.

The dish was simple and flavorful however we taste it the soy a lot. I will add a lil more honey next time to find the perfect balance.

Made this for my family and it was a hit! A better version of teriyaki chicken. I broiled it at the end to get a great crunch. We also marinated it for 5+ hours and the chicken thighs pretty much fell apart.

It was delicious! My son usually don’t like chicken thigh but with this recipe, it was a hit!
