  • 250 milliliters whole milk
  • 160 milliliters honey
  • 3 egg yolks

    Directions

    1. Heat the cream and milk together with the honey just until it begins to simmer.
    2. Beat the egg yolks and add to the hot cream mixture little by little, stirring continuously.
    3. Heat on low heat, stirring, until the mixture thickens.
    4. Let cool and refrigerate overnight.
    5. Place into the freezer, removing every 30 minutes to stir, until creamy. May place into an ice cream maker, following its instructions, instead.
