They were good, basic waffles. The 1/2 of oil is a 1/2 cup for those wondering. they don't brown like other waffles but are still crisp.

This batter turned out to make pretty flavorless waffles and gave me the absolute worst stomach ache. It tasted okay with some butter and syrup on top. Nice and spongey and had a little flavor after putting in more vanilla and sugar. However, it is definitely not worth the almost days worth of stomach pain. I suggest a different recipe.

Good. Easy to make. I assume the directions mean for 1/2 cup oil. Just to be safe, I only used a 1/4 cup, but it was still tasty.
