This turned out awesome...didn’t follow the recipe exactly. Followed the recipe up to adding the cornstarch, didn’t add the butter, thought it would be overkill. The sauce is delicious as is. I did purée the strawberries that were boiling and added it back to the pan and it gave it the nice red color (no need for food coloring). Let it cool and added the fresh strawberries to the cooled sauce.
