Awesome recipe! I increased the red pepper flakes to 1/2 teaspoon and added 1 teaspoon on brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of Accent! The best sausage recipe I’ve made even cooking some immediately after mixing! I did grind my own pork butt and added pork fat but this will be my go to recipe!

I’ve been using this recipe for years, and it’s fantastic! Great that it doesn’t have any sugar like so many different types of sausages do.

I used ground chicken as my base meat...very tasty. I’m thinking of purchasing some casing from the butcher so I can make in bulk and freeze.
