I’ve made these 3 times already, just adding a clove or two of minced garlic to the mix. I totally forgot the Parmesan this last time, and they were still delicious. My go to recipe to use up day old bread, and the croutons are way better than store bought.

Excellent, easy and and a way to use bread that is a bit to crusty for sandwiches. I used homemade bread I wasn’t happy with the texture, it was more like a flat bread. Makes excellent croutons! Used garlic salt, grated parm/reggiano cheese, seasoned pepper, olive oil, and baked in the oven yum!

Delicious! It was hard to stop eating them when they came right out of the oven. I refrigerated the ones leftover. They were good for quite a while.
