Ingredients
- 150 mL hard cider
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 60 mL milk
- 420 grams bread flour
- 40 grams sugar
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 30 grams fresh yeast
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 50 grams butter (at room temperature and chopped)
- vegetable oil
- 250 grams superfine sugar
- 4 Tbsp. hard cider
Directions
- In a saucepan, heat the cider and cinnamon stick. Once the flavors have mixed, remove from the stove and let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix the milk, flour, sugar, maple syrup, salt, yeast, and ground cinnamon. Once mixed, add the cider. Knead thoroughly.
- Add the butter and continue to knead until smooth. Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
