Awesome! I've made it twice just because it was so great the first time. Definitely be weary of the pan-size, though. A slight difference can cause overflow (11 x 8 vs. 13 x 9). I followed the recipe exact except kept my whipped cream vanilla. It did have a little bit of a cornbready taste, but that may be due to the flour I used. However, it was nothing unbearable and eating a slice warmed with a scoop of ice cream was enough to distract from that little discrepancy (as someone who isn't a fan of cornbread).

Delicious, moist cake! I overcooked mine, but the filling fixed that right up. Can't wait to try it again with coffee instead of water.
