- pie crust (Homemade, my recipe makes 2 crusts; 1 for bottom 1 for top)
- 4 1/2 cups cherries (halved pitted fresh)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract (it's delicious!)
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter (cold, cut into small cubes)
- 1 large egg (beaten with 1 Tablespoon, 15ml milk)
- coarse sugar (optional:, for sprinkling on crust)

Turned out GREAT!!!!! Made with full crust rather than lattice… picture perfect!!!

Wonderful! I used frozen cherries from last summer so I should’ve added more corn starch. It was still a little runny.
