- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 inch fresh ginger (slice of)
- 5 black peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp. black tea leaves (loose)
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar (or honey adjust according to taste, I prefer the brown sugar.)
