Perfection!
The best I have ever made. I followed the recipe exactly except I didn’t bother with the stand mixer.
I’m weird and like to kneed the dough and feel it change. Some i shaped perfect some not so much, but they were all amazing.
These were so good.

Actually much easier than I expected. I probably should have kneaded them a bit longer. True to [my] form, they’re all different sizes 🤷♀️😂.

Hey this was super easy and very tasty. I’d make it again for sure. I chose the “make the dough ahead of time” method- I had to punch it down a few times in the two day but it rose again just fine.

Made these and they came out perfect in color and fluffery. They were easier to make than I thought they’d be I highly recommend this recipe.

Turned out great. A little big so next time I will make a little smaller as they don’t expand too much in the oven. Made cheese, sesame and everything toppings. Next time I will also take my time in shaping them. Soft and chewy, I would also add a little more salt

I've made this recipe a few times and every single time they come out just like I bought them from a NY bagel shop! I doubled the recipe each time because my family request I send them some! They are perfectly golden on outside and dense and chewy inside. I probably won't be buying store bought again.

Okay, so I screwed up originally and mixed the yeast in with the flour. Yikes! But who wants to waste six cups of bread flour? So, trudged onward and used hotter water-117 degrees. The bagels still came out great! Tasty!

They are scrumptious! We had been lamenting that we hadn’t had a good bagel since we left Montreal many years ago. These live up to what we think bagels should taste like!
