- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 oz. simple syrup (Holiday Spiced, recipe below, plus more for glass rims)
- 6 oz. bourbon
- chips (Apple, for garnish, if desired, optional)
- star anise (for garnish, if desired, optional)
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 8 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
