Could add spinach. Could add vegan ham flavored bullion. Double recipe to make 8 servings.

Love how easy this recipe is. Next time I will brown the onions in a skillet before putting them in the crockpot for a better flavor.

This was quick & easy to prep. Great slow cooker recipe, mostly with ingredients that are probably already in your pantry! Will definitely make this one again soon.

In all honesty I thought it was just okay. So why am I giving this 5 stars? Well my fellow yummers, my soup hating husband and my crazy picky food aversion 3 year old, both loved the soup! They both had two servings! I served it with garlic bread on the side. I cooked this in my instant pot for one hour and then I hit it with my immersion blender just a bit to make it more creamy/thick. I will make this again even though it was not my favorite, and the 1 year old was bored with it.

This was our favorite soup over this past winter. It was magic to my tastebuds. Sweet, savory, hearty and delicious. I realized I prefer white beans and black beans over all other beans when I am making a soup. The white beans thickened in a way that created a creaminess I did not expect. Good Recipe for Sure.
