Can't really comment/rate this as I changed it quite a bit. Will add more onion and garlic next time. I used 4 cups chicken broth, a tsp chicken bouillon paste, cabbage, salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, dried oregano, basil, and parsley, and put an old rind of parm I had in the fridge. Simmered on low for about 2 hrs. Did use homemade croutons and cheese. Next time will try with spinach and macaroni (cooked separately) or rice.

Delicious! We made homemade croutons to go with it, and the croutons and cheese take this to the next level. Also added extra garlic and a shallot we needed to use up.

Its my second time making this one and it still holds up. Granted, i'm known to doctor up recipes. I added different seasonings (salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne - to taste) and used navy beans as well as great northern white beans... w/out these additions, i imagine it would be quite bland.

Actually quite good. Make sure and use the toppings. I made homemade croutons, a great addition.

It was tasty for a veggie soup. I took the suggestion of a reviewer and added pearl cous cous to give it a bit more weight. I'd pair it with some fresh french bread, otherwise you will be hungry in a few hours.

Turned out very tasty! We didn’t have basil or kale. Substituted leafy greens for kale and shortened the cook time. My daughter likes everything spicy, so we added some Borsari seasoning and Paprika. My daughter is just starting to learn how to cook and this was a great and easy soup recipe to try!

Healthy and Delicious! I will definitely be making this again! I might add chicken or sausage next time but it was good without.

Loved the recipe. I prepared my own navy beans ahead of time instead of using canned, diced fresh tomatoes instead of using canned, and used low sodium vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.

Yummy! Nothing beats a simple soup like this one. I didn't use croutons and it still turned out wonderful.

Great soup, I added some grilled Italian Chicken sausage and more tomatoes and 1 Serrano pepper, I like spice. I pureed 1 cup of beans to give it a thicker feel without adding cream.

This is a great soup, I did a few changes, added some Sweet Italian Sausage (cooked) , some chopped carrots, Cannellini beans, a few Chili Flakes, sprinkles a little shredded Parmesan Cheese on top when served, yummy. It is great the next day also.
