Super good! Will be making again. Didn’t use the special milk stuff (couldn’t find it in store) but it still tasted good!

We really liked this! I usually stick to my favorite dal recipe but wanted to try something new. I used 2 jalapeños in place of the peppers, used the “golden milk” spice substitutes listed, and homemade cashew cream instead of coconut milk.

Delicious 😍 I would make it again. The seasoning was perfect! I did not use the golden milk. Just added similar seasoning.

A solid recipe that I will make again. This version makes a thick soup; use less broth for a heartier consistency.
