- chopped cilantro (for topping)
- cotija cheese (crumbled, for topping)
- 1/2 tsp. butter
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt (– more to taste)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (choice, I used Monterrey Jack)
