- 2 heads broccoli (fresh, stemmed and cut into similar sized florets)
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt (or more to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 3 dashes hot sauce (I used Tobasco)
- 1/2 cup almond (Blue Diamond, Breeze Almondmilk, Original)
- 2 cups white cheddar cheese (PACKED, shredded)
- 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
