- 1/4 cup coconut oil (soft, not melted)
- 2 free range eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup black mission figs (ripe, roughly 12 ounces, cut into quarters)
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (grade b)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch cardamom (optional)
- 12 oz. vegan cream cheese (i like Tofutti or Follow Your Heart)
- 1/4 cup shortening (organic palm)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (organic)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
