Ingredients

- 2 tsp. coriander seeds
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1 clove
- 1/2 star anise
- 1 tsp. Kashmiri red chili powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- paneer (For Making, Hariyali:)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 green chilies (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. ginger paste
- 2 Tbsp. garlic paste
- 1 cup onion (diced into thin strips)
- 2 tsp. masala (hariyali, spice blend–for recipe, look above to top of this section)
- 1/2 cup broccoli (roughly chopped into small florets)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup peppers (diced small)
- 1/2 cup tomatoes (roughly chopped )
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups spinach (finely chopped)
- 1 cup mustard greens (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup chickpea flour (each of, dissolved in 1/4 cup water)
- 3/4 cup paneer (grated)
- 1/2 cup water
- salt (to taste, approx. 1 tsp.)
- 1 wedge lemon (or 1/2 tsp. lemon juice)
