Pineapple is such a fun ingredient to use! Especially on a sandwich like this. You can make an old boring ham and cheese sandwich taste incredible just by adding a slice of pineapple. - 1 tsp. butter
- 4 slices bread
- 1/4 pineapple (cut into thin slices)
- 2 slices ham (or turkey)
- 4 slices cheese (any kind you like)
- 6 leaves basil

Directions
- Heat up a large frying pan on the stove for 5 minutes (at low-medium heat).
- Place the pineapple slices, ham/turkey, basil, and cheese over each slice of bread and then cover them with the other remaining slices.
- Place the teaspoon of butter into the pan and let it melt. Once the butter melts, place the sandwiches into the frying pan and grill the sandwich for approx. 3 minutes on each side.
- Once the cheese has melted, serve.
