I adjusted the recipe. I chose to add grated parmesan (instead of mozzarella) as well as about a tablespoon of cream cheese. I was wanting a creamier sauce so also added a little cornstarch to cream to thicken. Finally I added a small amount of nutmeg. I would rate this version 5 stars but realize I made a number of changes to fit my family’s preferences.

Made my own version using this as a platform and everyone loved it. I used seafood in place of the ham (crab legs, lobster and shrimp), it was amazing.
