- 1 butter pie crust (use half the double crust recipe, or half the packaged refrigerated pie crusts - *see notes)
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded, reserve some for topping the quiche if desired - *see notes)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan (grated)
- 1/2 cup cooked ham (diced)
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream (or half & half, or milk - *see notes)
- 5 large eggs (beaten, at room temperature)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. dried chives (freeze)
