- 1 swede turnip (large, peeled and cubed)
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (divided)
- whole milk (as needed)

- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted, to brush over pies)
- 1 Tbsp. flat leaf parsley (very finely chopped)
