This is the best gumbo I’ve ever had. Hands down perfection. I am keeping this recipe on my family and passing it on to my girls. 10 stars!!

It was very good-I used peeled/deveined shrimp instead of crabmeat I didn’t have and added it in the last 3-5 minutes! Really good and not difficult.

it definitely takes longer than an hour to prepare... but it was a big hit once it was done.

Loved the flavor and that it wasn’t as salty as the box mix. I will definitely make this again!

Not as good as grandmas but it was pretty good. I used plant based sausage and chicken. The chicken wasnt the best but it was a really good base. Will make this again for sure.

oooooh man this was the bomb dot com. As you all can see i used crawfish instead of crab legs in mines. When i tell ya its just as tasty and mmm mmmm MMMMMMM GOOD trust me when i say this is a must make. Little side note; first time i ever made gumbo in my life. Super easy to follow and understand. Congrats on this one

I made this recipe but I modified it. I used half a can of cream of chicken instead bouillon, used 4 cups chicken broth and 2 cups of water, did not use tomatoes and added lump crab meat. It was very close to the gumbo my mom made. Will def be making it again.

Honestly I've never eaten or made Gumbo before last night and it turned out amazing!

This is probably one of my top 10 favorite recipes to make all year long. Living in New England most people don’t eat outside of their comfort zone. I make this for guests all the time and they go crazy for it. I add okra to mine as well!!

Good recipe. My only tweak would be to season the chicken prior to cooking. Maybe even baking the chicken, versus boiling it, for a richer flavor. All in all, I look forward to finishing my leftovers throughout the week and cooking this meal again.
