I read the reviews first and made a few changes. I put 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar in the cake (yes it turns out and tastes like cake). For the icing I kept the butter and Bailey’s the same but used 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar to offset some of the butter taste.
My husband and I both thought it tasted good. The Bailey’s flavor is unmistakable. Good thing we like it.

I made this pie exactly as the directions specified. It was inedible. After all of our guests took a bite and agreed it was pretty bad, I threw the rest away. It needs more sugar, a lot more sugar. One of the comments I read said it had turned out well after the person (mistakenly) added two cups of sugar to the batter. That actually might have made it palatable.

Very Disappointing! The pie/cake part was flat..no flavor. No one liked it. The icing part was fine but I did add more powdered sugar so you would not taste just butter.
