Great flavors. I used 2T agave syrup instead of 5T sugar and subbed orange juice for the water. Garnished with sliced scallion & shredded carrot and served in Bibb lettuce leaves. I’ll make it again!

This was very good, and I only made a couple tweaks for what I had on hand. Reduced sugar to 3T and used 5T rice wine vinegar instead of the rice wine and white vinegar. I also didn’t need to use the cornstarch/water mixture to thicken my sauce, I just let it simmer a couple minutes while my side finished cooking. I also used coconut aminos instead of the soy sauce, and ground turkey instead of chicken, since that’s what I had. Oh, and I used about 1/2 to 1 t dried orange peel and about 1 T freeze-dried garlic (minced); those may have helped absorb some of the extra liquid, hence no need to thicken.
I will definitely make this again!
Update: I made this again and decided that it wasn’t spicy enough; next time I will double the red pepper flakes.

This is a family favorite! In fact, it was requested by the college age child as the last family dinner before heading off to university. The flavor is tangy, yet not too sweet. The orange zest gives it the perfect favor.

Great. Took advice of others and reduced sugar to 3 TBS, white vinegar to 4 TBS and red pepper flakes to just a few shakes. I also used juice from the orange in the cornstarch slurry instead of water. Served it as lettuce wraps. Wonderful flavor. Next time I might add diced canned water chestnuts for some crunch!

Yummy and simple. I have made this several times. It is very tasty but healthy. Good weeknight dinner.

Turned out just as expected, and the sauce actually thickened (which never works for me). Cut sugar in half

Made it as in the recipe. It was very good but not spicy at all so I added sriracha to my serving. I will make it again but with much more heat.

Came it lovely, didn't have all the ingredients this time around but will be making again.

It was amazing. My only complaint was there was too much spice for me, but the flavor was excellent. Definitely a make again!

Amazing. Had to substitute some ingredients that I didn’t have (1/8 tsp ground ginger, 1/2 tsp granulated garlic, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 4 tbp rice vinegar, 1 tbp orange juice, 2 tsp sugar)

Sauce remained thin, so it was tricky to “coat” the meat, still good overall. We had it with fried riced cauliflower
