- 1 tsp. fish sauce (or colatura, optional but recommended to add a savory flavor)
- 1/2 cup fresh basil (chiffonade, 1/4 inch wide chiffonade)
- 6 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- kosher salt
- 1/3 cup toasted pine nuts (optional)
