- 5 lb. skirt steak (or flank)
- 2 cups coffee (strong, at room temperature)
- 2 cups soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 white onion (large, diced)
- kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper

Directions
- Using a fork, pierce the steak on one side and place it in a large nonreactive pan or dish, such as a ceramic casserole dish.
- In a small bowl, add all remaining ingredients together; stir to combine and pour mixture over steak.
- Marinate steak in the mixture for 6-8 hours in refrigerator, turning occasionally. Remove the steak from refrigerator and allow it to rest at room temperature for an hour before grilling.
