- 2 Tbsp. olive oil (or butter or a combo of both)
- 1 garlic clove (smashed)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- capers (optional)
- chives (optional)
- seasoning (optional)
- 1/4 cup mayo (or veganaise or vegan mayo)
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. anchovy paste (or mash two anchovies, or sub miso paste for vegan)
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger (finely minced or grated)
- 1 garlic clove (finely minced or grated, use a garlic press)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. seasoning (furikake, optional)
