- 2 lb. beef (cut into cubes, (any kind you want to use, stew beef works well))
- 1 clove garlic (minced, I use a minced garlic in a jar)
- 2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup (or cream of mushroom)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion (I dice a small onion because we love onion)
- 3/4 cup sherry (do not omit; this is what gives it the great flavor it has)
- 1/2 cup water

This was really good- I cooked it on the stovetop. Had to tenderize the meat prior and did not add the water. Served it over mashed potatoes.
