- 4 pinches crushed red pepper flakes (a pinch is three fingers & a thumb!)
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 shallot (large, chopped)
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 lb. pasta (Cicatelli, Penne would be a good substitute)
- 15 oz. goat cheese (softened)
- 1 cup pasta water (reserved)
- chopped parsley (fresh, for garnish, optional)
