  • 2 cups milk & cream (coconut, so refrigerate the cans overnight and scoop out the heavy cream that comes to the top)
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice (about 4 large lemons)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or ½ cup sugar)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest

  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
