- 1/4 tsp. xanthan gum (omit if your blend already contains it)
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. oil (cherry flavoring, LorAnn brand is gluten-free)
- red gel food coloring (as desired, about 1/4 teaspoon)
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 Tbsp. golden syrup (Lyle’s, can substitute an equal amount honey or molasses)
