- 1/3 cup cane sugar (unbleached)
- 1/4 cup flaxseed (ground golden)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup dairy free margarine (or plant butter, I used Country Crock Avocado Oil plant butter sticks)
- 1/2 cup rice milk (cold, or water, both will work in this recipe)
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries (craisins, chopped)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 navel orange (medium)
- turbinado sugar (for topping optional)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. orange juice (more or less to make this glaze thicker or thinner)
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 Orange
