- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 2/3 cup milk (at room temperature)
- 2 eggs (120 g, weighed out of shell at room temperature, beaten)
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 12 Tbsp. unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 3/8 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 3/4 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. milk (at room temperature, plus more if necessary)
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
