- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (cold, cut into a 1/4-inch dice or grated and chilled)
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (chilled)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted)
- cinnamon sugar (mixture for sprinkling, see Recipe Notes)
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp. lukewarm water (plus more as necessary)
