    The coconut flour I think absorbs too much liquid and the rice flour didn’t help bind the crust. It came out completely loose and I couldn’t even find the apples!

    I substituted the oats with almond flour. The only drawback of this recipe was the fact that the apples were too dry. I'd recommend a bit of water with some lemon juice on the bottom of whatever pan you may use. Who knows, maybe the apples were not quite great for baking.
