- 2 cups all-purpose flour (+ about 2 to 4 tablespoons for work surface and hands)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 pinch salt (optional and to taste)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold, 1 stick)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream (lite is okay)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cream (or milk, or as needed for consistency)

This scone recipe turned out absolutely delicious. it is moist with a nice apple and spice flavor. The spices are in perfect proportion to the scone so they don't overpower the apple flavor. The glaze adds just the right amount of sweetness. I will definitely make them again and again.
