Perfect. Firm but lightly crisp. Just the right amount of spice. Copied it out and added to my recipe box.

Really simple recipe and I had to make double the recipe to make my gingerbread house. Only used 4 tbsp of molasses as I don’t like it too strong l.

I only used white sugar and they still browned really nice! I baked them a little longer and they turned out crunchy, just how i like my cookies

fabulous. chill for at least an hour and bake at 350 for 14 mins. I doubled the spices. 1 tsp of flavor extract in the frosting didn't do it, I'd try doubling that next time

Turned out great! We made 1 1/2 batches and replaced molasses with sorghum syrup because that’s what we had on hand. They we soft and good tasting but stillsturdy enough for cutting and decorating. Attached is a picture of a few we made. They are a little lighter because of the sorghum...

Delicious and pretty easy recipe. A teeny bit too much molasses taste, but other than that really amazing. I cooked them for about 15 minutes and got them nice and crunchy, with a little bit of chewiness.

Wow! These are the best gingerbread men I've ever had. The balance and blend of ingredients is perfect. I was looking for a great recipe to use for my first gingerbread men baking experience, and I found the right one. It has all of the right ingredients. I'm so glad they came out so well. I can't wait to let people try them! For the icing, I used a more basic recipe with what I had in the kitchen and it came out great. I recommend using a 5 in. gingerbread man cookie cutter. This recipe is a keeper and will be the beginning of a new Christmas tradition!
