These were so full of flavor, I had to change my opinion about gingerbread cookies. I am not a huge fan of black pepper so I only put 1/2 tsp. Will definitely make these again.

I would add an extra egg to make the dough more sticky. This made it easier to roll out and prevented crumbling. Otherwise the recipe was great and the cookies turned out well!
