This is my third year making these, so officially my go-to recipe for ginger crinkle cookies. I’m at a high elevation (5,000 ft) and in previous years, my cookies have always been super thin. I halved the recipe this year (2 eggs) and used 4 cups of flour. They were the perfect consistency! However, I think I’ll increase the spices next year for a more intense flavor to make up for the extra flour used. This is also the first year that I’ve attempted to make the snowflakes on top. They photograph well, but look dumb in person in my opinion. And I don’t think they’re necessary for flavor.

They’re great adult cookies! The recipe doesn’t exactly say how long to chill for - I chilled for about an hour and a half and they didn’t spread much at all. I also cut butter to 2 cups and sugar to 2 cups, and it turned out great

I can’t stop eating them!!! They are so delicious!! I’ll definitely make them again! The recipe made about 8 dozen so I froze lots of cookies and I plan to save a big appetite in order to have plenty of room to eat some more on Christmas!

This cookie has good flavor. They are very soft. If making, be sure to not skip chilling the dough well, because these cookies tend to spread a lot.

Tried this twice and came out terrible both times. The cookies spread very thin and were kind of hard, and looked nothing like the photo. I think something's off with this recipe.

They taste great! Mine turned out thinner than the pictures but a really good cookie non the less. Looking forward to sharing them with some friends for a cookie exchange

Gorgeous and delicious! We’ve made these for Christmas at least three years in a row. It makes around seven or eight dozen cookies.

Taste AMAZING but the butter seeps through the top after being baked all the way through, not pretty

My cookies taste great, but the color of them does not look the picture. Not sure what I did wrong. I also notice that the instructions do not say how long to chill the dough. Maybe that was the issue.
