Awesome! I did add sautéed purple onion as well. The dish was a hit with family and friends.

it's good for what it is. im not a huge potato salad fan but the family loved it. i did use canned potatoes and garlic powder as substitutions

Great recipe! I did not modify it, except for using stevia instead of sugar. I will definitely make it again.

I followed reine's suggestion and cut the sugar in half. came out perfect! Super delicious. served warm. I will definitely be making this again.

I made a half recipe. Other than some personal mistakes (burned bacon, overcooked potatoes), i thought it turned out well. A little sweeter than I expected. Next time I'll just a bit more vinager. We enjoyed it, and will do it again.

GREAT We all loved it.
I made one change, I added 1/2 white onion that was sautéed in the bacon grease.

I make this all the time! I omit the sugar & pepper, and use whole grain Dijon mustard (Trader Joe's.) I also increase the vinegar a little bit, because I love the tart taste. With the real bacon prepared pieces (from Costco) this recipe takes no time at all to prepare, and might be fewer calories - bonus!
Red potatoes are good for you and reasonable calories. German potato salad is the best!! Thank you for this yummy recipe.
